Description

A delicious twist on classic dessert favorites, combining warm cinnamon sugar churros and sweet apple pie filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup apple pie filling
  • 1 can Grands Canned biscuits
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • Cinnamon to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: Cut the apple pie filling into small pieces.
  2. Prepare the biscuits: Separate the canned biscuits and flatten each into a 4-inch circle.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F for about 5 minutes.
  4. Fill each biscuit with a portion of apple pie filling, seal, and shape into a ball.
  5. Arrange in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each bomb.
  6. Cook for about 8 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While baking, melt the butter in a small bowl.
  8. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  9. Dip each bomb into melted butter and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  10. Cool the bombs on a wire rack and repeat with any remaining ingredients.

Notes

Make sure to not overstuff the bombs to prevent them from bursting. Refrigerate filled bombs for 30 minutes before cooking for better shape retention.
