Description
Delicious and healthier Nutella stuffed churros made in an air fryer for a crispy treat without the excess oil.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 sheets Puff Pastry (thawed)
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup butter (unsalted, and melted)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Lay out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 4 squares, then cut each square into triangles.
- Add about 1 tablespoon of Nutella to the center of each triangle and spread it.
- Roll up the dough, pinching the ends to seal the filling inside.
- Preheat the air fryer at 400°F for 3-5 minutes and spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the churros in the air fryer and cook for 5-8 minutes at 400°F.
- Mix melted butter with granulated sugar and cinnamon, and coat the cooked churros in this mixture.
- Serve with caramel sauce, melted chocolate, or enjoy as is.
Notes
Ensure puff pastry is fully thawed for easier handling. Don’t overfill to prevent overflow when sealing.
