Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the glaze:
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the glaze ingredients (ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard). Spread the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra moisture, try adding grated vegetables like carrots or zucchini. Adjust seasoning to taste.
