- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, mushrooms, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties and place them in a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix beef broth with cornstarch (if using) and pour over the patties.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until browned.
