  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Add the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until well combined; the batter will be thick.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and remaining flour. Cut in the cold butter cubes until crumbly.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool slightly in the pan. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for glaze. Drizzle over the warm cake.
  7. Let it cool completely before slicing and serving.
