- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 20 wonton wrappers
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Cooking oil (for brushing)
- Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the fat.
- Add taco seasoning to the beef and mix well.
- Lightly grease a muffin tin.
- Place a wonton wrapper in each muffin cup, pressing to fit.
- Fill each wrapper with a spoonful of the seasoned beef.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Brush the edges of the wonton wrappers with oil for crispiness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the wrappers are crispy and golden.
- Let cool slightly, then remove from the muffin tin and serve with your choice of toppings.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in some diced onions or peppers with the beef. These cups can also be made ahead of time—just bake them right before serving.
