Description

These cookies are soft and chewy with rich chocolate chips melting in every bite, making them a timeless treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the creamy mixture.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
  7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges are nicely browned.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
