Description

Ingredients

  • 5 cups of cubed bread (day-old preferred)
  • 1 cup of chopped vegetables (bell peppers, onions, or spinach)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage or smoked turkey until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  4. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the cubed bread, followed by the cooked sausage or turkey, chopped vegetables, and cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients, ensuring everything is coated.
