Description

A delightful dish with a sweet, savory, and slightly tangy glaze that elevates any festive gathering or family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 spiral cut ham
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Mix together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, honey, black pepper, and garlic powder to create a smooth glaze.
  3. Place the spiral cut ham in a large roasting pan, ensuring that it’s securely positioned.
  4. Brush the glaze generously over the entire surface of the ham, ensuring that it seeps into the cuts for maximum flavor.
  5. Cover the ham with aluminum foil to prevent it from drying out and place it in the preheated oven.
  6. Bake the ham for approximately 90 minutes. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  7. Let the ham rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches at least 140°F (60°C).
