Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add the browned butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use overripe bananas for the best flavor and ensure the butter is browned carefully to avoid burning.
