Description

A decadent dessert combining rich brownie layers with creamy cheesecake topping, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 150g butter
  • 100g all-purpose flour
  • 120g sugar
  • 250g cream cheese
  • 60g sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and butter. Microwave in short bursts, stirring until melted and smooth. Allow it to cool slightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and 120g sugar until pale and fluffy, then combine this with the cooled chocolate mixture.
  4. Gently fold in the flour until the batter is well mixed, then pour into the prepared springform pan.
  5. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and 60g sugar until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spoon the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, until edges are set and center jiggles slightly. Let cool in the pan.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding vanilla extract to the cream cheese filling or topping with whipped cream or fresh berries when serving.
