Description

A delightful twist on the classic Italian appetizer, this bruschetta dip combines soft cheese, fresh tomatoes, and basil, topped with a sweet balsamic glaze, making it perfect for parties or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin)
  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette

Instructions

  1. Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate, leaving about a 1/4 inch around the edge empty and clean.
  2. Evenly sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes over the cheese, then add the fresh basil on top.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the whole plate and serve with pita chips, crackers, or spread on thin slices of baguette.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best taste. Best served fresh and can be covered and stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
