Ingredients

- 1/2 pound bacon, cut into small pieces
- 2 dozen Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Fry the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the grease in the pan.
- Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the pan, stirring to coat in the bacon grease. Cover with a lid and reduce heat to medium-low, cooking for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Add the bacon back into the pan and cook uncovered for a few more minutes until the Brussels sprouts are tender and browned to your liking.
- Season with salt and pepper, stir, and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispy bacon, consider cooking it separately and sprinkling it on top just before serving.
