Description

A delicious dish combining crispy bacon and tender Brussels sprouts, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 pound bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 2 dozen Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the grease in the pan.
  2. Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the pan, stirring to coat in the bacon grease. Cover with a lid and reduce heat to medium-low, cooking for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add the bacon back into the pan and cook uncovered for a few more minutes until the Brussels sprouts are tender and browned to your liking.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, stir, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispy bacon, consider cooking it separately and sprinkling it on top just before serving.
