- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and mix until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Alfredo sauce over fettuccine and garnish with chopped parsley.
