Description

A sweet and tart treat that adds a festive touch to your holiday celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  2. Add the fresh cranberries to the saucepan and let them simmer for about ten minutes.
  3. Remove the cranberries from the saucepan with a slotted spoon and place them on a wire rack. Let them cool for one hour.
  4. Once cooled, roll the cranberries in powdered sugar until thoroughly coated.
  5. Allow the cranberries to dry for a few hours before serving.

Notes

Choose fresh cranberries and allow enough time for them to dry properly after coating.
