- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in diced apples and pour the mixture over the crust in the pan.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
- Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars. Serve with additional caramel sauce if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, serve these bars chilled. Adding extra caramel on top enhances sweetness.
