Description

Delicious dessert bars combining creamy cheesecake, sweet apples, and rich caramel, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in diced apples and pour the mixture over the crust in the pan.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  7. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars. Serve with additional caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

For best flavor, serve these bars chilled. Adding extra caramel on top enhances sweetness.
