Description

A comforting dish combining tender chicken, gooey cheese, and flaky crescent rolls, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped (rotisserie works great)
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls (8-count)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough, separate it into triangles, and fill each with cooked chicken and shredded cheese, then roll them up and place seam-side down in the baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth; pour evenly over the crescent rolls.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling, then let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use good quality ingredients for the best flavor. Can be prepped ahead and stored in the fridge before baking. Avoid overfilling the crescent rolls.
