Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Additional cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated cheese, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a greased casserole dish and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread marinara sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
- Top with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the meat is cooked through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Great served with mashed potatoes, green beans, or salad. It can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and frozen for up to 2 months.
