- 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In one bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, half the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a second bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Put the flour in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip it in the egg mixture, and finally coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese with the mozzarella cheese and minced garlic. Top the chicken with this cheese mixture.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Serve hot with pasta, salad, or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
