Description
Crispy and flavorful chicken egg rolls, perfect as a snack or appetizer for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine cooked chicken, cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Place 2 tablespoons of the filling near one corner of the wrapper.
- Fold the corner over the filling, roll tightly, and seal the edges with water.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to get a nice crispy texture. Be careful not to overfill the egg rolls, as they may burst while frying. Optionally, egg rolls can be baked for a healthier option.
