Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Beat the eggs in another shallow dish.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Place the fried chicken on a baking sheet, top each breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
