Description
A rich and creamy cheesecake with delightful chocolate and zesty orange flavors, perfect for special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 24 oz cream cheese (full-fat)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa)
- Zest and juice of 2 large fresh oranges
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the granulated sugar, mixing until well combined. Then mix in the orange zest and juice.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or on the stovetop. Let it cool slightly before folding it into the cream cheese mixture. Finally, gently fold in the whipped heavy cream until everything is combined.
- Pour the filling into the cooled graham cracker crust and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight to set.
- Before serving, garnish the cheesecake with melted chocolate and fresh orange slices for extra flavor.
Notes
For extra orange flavor, consider adding a few drops of orange extract. Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth mixture.
