Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef or pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, mix cranberry sauce, ketchup, and soy sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
- Toss the cooked meatballs in the cranberry sauce mixture and serve as appetizers.
Notes
For added flavor, mix in garlic or herbs into the meat mixture. Prepare the meatballs a day ahead for convenience.
