Description

Delightful meatballs infused with sweet and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, mix cranberry sauce, ketchup, and soy sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warm.
  6. Toss the cooked meatballs in the cranberry sauce mixture and serve as appetizers.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in garlic or herbs into the meat mixture. Prepare the meatballs a day ahead for convenience.
