- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to boil. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate. Stir until smooth.
- Stir in the rum, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 120 minutes until firm.
- Once firm, use a melon baller or your hands to scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, or crushed nuts.
- Store in an airtight container and enjoy or gift them!
