Description

A comforting and easy classic meatloaf recipe that’s perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Mix well until combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Spread additional ketchup on top if desired.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy your juicy meatloaf!
