- 2 cans Canned French-style green beans, drained
- 6 slices Bacon, cooked until crispy
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drain the green beans thoroughly.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy and let it cool on a paper towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Stir until well-blended.
- Add drained green beans and crumbled bacon to the mixture, gently mixing to coat.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to crisp the top and caramelize.
Notes
For a lighter sweetness, adjust brown sugar to taste. Use low-sodium soy sauce for lower sodium content.
