Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 12 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, jalapeños, sugar, water, and salt over medium heat.
  2. Stir the mixture until it reaches a boil and the cranberries begin to burst, about 10 minutes.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let the jam simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the lime juice and remove the saucepan from heat.
  5. Allow the jam to cool to room temperature.
  6. Transfer the jam to a jar and refrigerate it. It will be ready to enjoy once chilled.
