Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the butter mixture.
- Gently fold in cranberries and orange zest.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
