- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Form the cheese mixture into a ball and place it on a piece of plastic wrap. Wrap the ball tightly and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes, or until firm.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the chopped pecans or walnuts. Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and roll it in the nut mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated cheese ball on a serving platter and serve with crackers, sliced bread, and fresh vegetables.
Notes
Serve chilled with a variety of crackers, sliced bread, and fresh vegetables for dipping. Best enjoyed fresh but can be saved in an airtight container for up to a week.
