- 2 cups cooked ham, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Layer the potatoes, ham, and onion in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper until combined. Pour over the layered ingredients in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and continue cooking until melted. Serve warm.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider using a combination of cheddar and another cheese like Gruyère. Add frozen peas for color and nutrition.
