- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Add the salmon to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir to combine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the capers and return the salmon to the skillet, coating it with the sauce.
- Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
