Description

A delicious and easy one-skillet dish that combines orzo pasta, chicken sausage, and broccoli in a creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 chicken sausages, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add broccoli florets and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the orzo and chicken broth, bringing to a boil.
  6. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
  7. Stir in parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve hot.
