- 225g or 1 cup melted butter (cooled)
- 340g or 1¾ cups brown sugar or demerara sugar
- 2 eggs
- 285g or 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 100g or ½ cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C/356°F and line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk the sugar and eggs together in a medium-sized bowl until well blended.
- Slowly pour in the cooled melted butter while stirring the egg mixture.
- Stir in the flour until it’s fully mixed in. The batter will get super thick.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips, making sure they’re spread out evenly.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan, smooth the surface, and sprinkle some sea salt on top if desired.
- Bake for 25 minutes until the edges are firm and the top is golden.
- Leave it to cool completely in the tin before lifting it out and slicing it into 9 pieces.
Notes
Be sure the melted butter is cooled before adding it to the eggs. Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra flavor.
