Description

Delightful white chocolate bars that combine creamy white chocolate with a chewy texture, perfect for dessert lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 225g or 1 cup melted butter (cooled)
  • 340g or 1¾ cups brown sugar or demerara sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 285g or 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 100g or ½ cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/356°F and line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk the sugar and eggs together in a medium-sized bowl until well blended.
  3. Slowly pour in the cooled melted butter while stirring the egg mixture.
  4. Stir in the flour until it’s fully mixed in. The batter will get super thick.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips, making sure they’re spread out evenly.
  6. Pour the batter into your prepared pan, smooth the surface, and sprinkle some sea salt on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until the edges are firm and the top is golden.
  8. Leave it to cool completely in the tin before lifting it out and slicing it into 9 pieces.

Notes

Be sure the melted butter is cooled before adding it to the eggs. Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra flavor.
