- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Cut the chicken breasts into thin, fry-shaped strips.
- In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry the coated chicken strips in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
Notes
For a healthier version, bake the coated chicken strips at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. Serve with various dipping sauces.
