Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into thin, fry-shaped strips.
  3. In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  6. Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Fry the coated chicken strips in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier version, bake the coated chicken strips at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. Serve with various dipping sauces.
