- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar, mozzarella)
- 3–4 dill pickle slices
- Butter (for spreading)
- Optional: garlic powder, pepper, or other seasonings
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
- Layer cheese and dill pickles on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the bottom slice is golden brown.
- Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the other side is also golden brown.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For the best texture, reheat leftovers in a skillet. If using thick cheese slices, consider grating for faster melting.
