Description

Delicious and crispy phyllo rolls filled with feta and cream cheese, enhanced with fresh herbs.


Ingredients

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (like dill or parsley), chopped
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Olive oil or melted butter for brushing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the feta cheese, cream cheese, herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush with olive oil or melted butter. Layer another sheet on top and brush again.
  4. Place 2-3 tablespoons of the cheese mixture at one end of the phyllo sheet.
  5. Fold the sides in over the filling and roll up tightly to form a log.
  6. Place the roll seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling until everything is used.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the sweet chili sauce and honey. Heat until warm.
  10. Drizzle the warm chili honey over the baked rolls before serving.

Notes

Keep phyllo covered to prevent drying out. These rolls can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated.
