Description

A quick and easy salmon dish featuring a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients: Gather all ingredients and ensure salmon fillets are thawed. Mince garlic.
  2. Make the Honey Garlic Glaze: In a bowl, mix honey, low-sodium soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Sear the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Glaze and Finish Cooking: Flip the salmon and pour the honey garlic glaze over it. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through and caramelized.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Remove salmon from skillet, serve warm, and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the salmon for a couple of minutes after glazing. Adjust sweetness of glaze according to taste.
