Description

A comforting dish combining tender chicken with savory stuffing, perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (12 oz) package stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, celery, onion, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Sprinkle the stuffing mix evenly over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using homemade chicken broth. You can add more vegetables like carrots or peas for extra nutrition. If you like a crunchier topping, uncover the crockpot for the last 30 minutes of cooking.
