Ingredients

  • 700g chicken breast, tenderloins, or thigh
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper, ground
  • Finely chopped parsley
  • Lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken: Pound to an even thickness for consistent cooking.
  2. Mix the marinade: Combine honey (or sugar), oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, oregano, and pepper in a sealable bag or container.
  3. Add chicken: Coat the chicken well in the marinade, seal and refrigerate.
  4. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 3 hours to overnight.
  5. Cook the chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high, cook chicken until golden brown as per the cook times provided.
  6. Rest and serve: Let the chicken rest for 3 minutes, garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
