- 700g chicken breast, tenderloins, or thigh
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp black pepper, ground
- Finely chopped parsley
- Lemon slices
Instructions
- Prep the chicken: Pound to an even thickness for consistent cooking.
- Mix the marinade: Combine honey (or sugar), oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, oregano, and pepper in a sealable bag or container.
- Add chicken: Coat the chicken well in the marinade, seal and refrigerate.
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 3 hours to overnight.
- Cook the chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high, cook chicken until golden brown as per the cook times provided.
- Rest and serve: Let the chicken rest for 3 minutes, garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
