Description

Creamy and cheesy Delmonico-Style Potatoes are the perfect comforting side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil the cubed potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, sour cream, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Add the drained potatoes to the cream mixture and gently fold to combine.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  8. Garnish with chopped chives before serving.

Notes

For a crispy topping, sprinkle additional cheese or breadcrumbs on top before baking. You can also add cooked bacon or diced ham for a meaty twist.
