Description

A comforting dish that comes together quickly, perfect for weeknight dinners with rich flavors from beef and spices combined with noodles.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups egg noodles (not cooked)
  • 1 pound ground beef (lean)
  • 1 onion (cut up)
  • 23 garlic cloves (cut tiny)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian spices
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Get water boiling with salt. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
  2. Put beef and onion in a pan on high heat. Break up meat while it cooks for about 10 minutes, keeping some fat in the pan.
  3. Turn heat down. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian spices. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add flour, mix, and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour beef stock in slowly while stirring. Cook for 5-10 minutes until thick. Add more stock if it gets too thick.
  6. Mix in the cooked noodles. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve with grated cheese or fresh parsley on top. Pair with a side salad or steamed vegetables for a balanced meal.
