Description

A delightful and simple treat perfect for the holiday season that can be customized with your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings (nuts, marshmallows, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  4. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle toppings on top.
  6. Refrigerate for about 120 minutes or until firm.
  7. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the foil or parchment paper, and cut into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. Refrigerate to extend shelf life.
