Description

A delicious and simple meal featuring tender chicken and buttery noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pan over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Add the seasoned chicken to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente.
  4. Once the noodles are cooked, reduce heat and stir in the remaining butter until melted.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, toss everything together until well combined, and adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through (165°F). Feel free to add vegetables like peas or broccoli for extra nutrition.
