- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pan over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add the seasoned chicken to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente.
- Once the noodles are cooked, reduce heat and stir in the remaining butter until melted.
- Return the chicken to the pan, toss everything together until well combined, and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through (165°F). Feel free to add vegetables like peas or broccoli for extra nutrition.
