Description

A simple, quick meal featuring tender chicken and buttery noodles, all made in one pan for minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add egg noodles and cook according to package directions, usually 7-8 minutes.
  4. Once noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining butter until melted.
  5. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing everything together.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of chicken broth if needed.
