- 6 medium fresh strawberries
- 8 ounces milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 2 ounces hot water (175°F)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons water for blending
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries by washing and hulling them, then cut into quarters.
- Blend the quartered strawberries with honey or maple syrup and water until smooth.
- Layer the strawberry puree into a serving glass.
- Prepare the matcha by sifting the powder into a bowl.
- Whisk the matcha with hot water until frothy.
- Heat the milk until warm and frothy.
- Layer the frothed milk over the strawberry puree.
- Add the whisked matcha on top, using a spoon to help it float.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
