Ingredients

  • 6 medium fresh strawberries
  • 8 ounces milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 ounces hot water (175°F)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons water for blending

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries by washing and hulling them, then cut into quarters.
  2. Blend the quartered strawberries with honey or maple syrup and water until smooth.
  3. Layer the strawberry puree into a serving glass.
  4. Prepare the matcha by sifting the powder into a bowl.
  5. Whisk the matcha with hot water until frothy.
  6. Heat the milk until warm and frothy.
  7. Layer the frothed milk over the strawberry puree.
