- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Shredded cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Stir in the elbow macaroni, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the pasta is tender.
- Serve hot, with a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top if desired.
