- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (pounded to an even thickness)
- 1 to 2 teaspoons 21 Salute Seasoning or poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon garlic (finely minced)
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley (optional for garnishing)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, add the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season the pounded chicken evenly with 21 Salute seasoning, kosher salt, and black pepper before placing in the skillet.
- Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes without moving until medium golden color appears.
- Flip and cook the second side for an additional 5 minutes or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a plate.
- Deglaze the skillet with white wine or chicken broth, allowing it to bubble for a few seconds.
- Add the butter to the skillet, melting it while stirring until fully dissolved.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the garlic butter sauce.
- Optionally garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
