Description

Delicious pan-seared pork chops with garlic butter for a crispy and flavorful dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 thick pork chops
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., thyme or parsley)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. In the last couple of minutes, add butter and minced garlic to the pan, spooning the melted garlic butter over the pork chops.
  5. Cook until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use thick pork chops for the best results and allow them to rest after cooking.
