- 2 thick pork chops
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., thyme or parsley)
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In the last couple of minutes, add butter and minced garlic to the pan, spooning the melted garlic butter over the pork chops.
- Cook until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Use thick pork chops for the best results and allow them to rest after cooking.
