A unique twist on traditional chili, Gochujang Chile Con Carne combines hearty beef with the spicy, slightly sweet flavor of gochujang.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup gochujang paste
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the gochujang paste, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, beef broth, and cumin.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, or fresh cilantro enhance the dish. Serve with cornbread or rice for a complete meal.
