Description

A fun and delicious twist on traditional grilled cheese, combining cheesy goodness in a convenient burrito wrap.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Optional: diced vegetables (like bell peppers, onions, or tomatoes)
  • Optional: cooked protein (like chicken or bacon)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
  3. Add any optional vegetables or protein if using.
  4. Top with the second tortilla and press down gently.
  5. Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Carefully flip the burrito and add butter to the skillet.
  7. Cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with salsa, guacamole, or a side salad. Add a dollop of sour cream on top for extra flavor. Avoid overstuffing to make it easier to flip.
