- 2 tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Optional: diced vegetables (like bell peppers, onions, or tomatoes)
- Optional: cooked protein (like chicken or bacon)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
- Add any optional vegetables or protein if using.
- Top with the second tortilla and press down gently.
- Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt, about 3-4 minutes.
- Carefully flip the burrito and add butter to the skillet.
- Cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
Serve with salsa, guacamole, or a side salad. Add a dollop of sour cream on top for extra flavor. Avoid overstuffing to make it easier to flip.
